Jess Hurwitz has spent most of his career leading and scaling technology businesses globally. A professional, serial entrepreneur, and solutionist with 30+ years of technology, innovation, transformation, strategy, commercialization, R&D, and strategic development experience built at individual contributor, team leader, and management/executive levels. Within the span of his career, Jess has worked with clients of all sizes, spanning six continents, and across many different industries including: commercial maritime/shipping, energy, logistics, transportation, freight, superyacht, insurance, legal, engineering, weather, television shopping, retail, manufacturing, distribution, technology (personal computer, hardware, enterprise technology, application development, tech/fintech, etc.), consumer electronics, semiconductor, consulting, automotive, and many more. Most recently Jess has focused his efforts consulting and advising projects and startups in the crypto / blockchain space and working with many young and emerging growth companies incorporating modern styles of management, structure, organization, and process.

Jess is a longtime member and supporter of the YSPNY, a Board Member of the CMA (Connecticut Maritime Association), a Charter/Founding Member of the Advisory Committee of SUNY Maritime's NYMIC (NY Maritime Innovation Center), and proud member of WISTA. Jess is very engaged in the US/NY Metro/CT shipping community and always finds pleasure is assisting new members to our community and the shipping industry.
